Welcome to my website!

Use the Website Map page so that you can see the "Table of Contents" of
my site and its structure. Another map is available in the Search box.
From either "Map" page, you can click and jump to any page in the site,
instead of  navigating your way to the page you want.

As you enter my site, I suggest you choose a direction (section). I'm offering
these directions to make it easier to navigate and find more of what might
interest you. If you want to change direction at any point, return to this entry
page (click "Home") and select another direction either from links or from the
map page.

I've also added this search engine that enables you to search either my site or
the web for any name(s) or term(s) that you want to find.

If you'd like to hear a sample of my voice, I edited and narrated a promotional
presentation for a friend who developed a software application and wanted to present it
to someone in the States.

If you came looking for Chertoff Family info, you've also come to the right
place. There's plenty here.

We held the 1st Chertoff Family Reunion since our families left Belarus in the late
19th and early 20th centuries on Kibbutz Shomrat, in Israel's Western Galilee.

As for Chertoff news, while in LA in April, I had the honor of meeting another Chertoff,
from a branch previously unknown to me.
Through a link at JewishGen, I found two sisters whose mother was a Chertoff.
Neither of them have the Chertoff surname anymore. But there is an amazing coincidence in ther locations.
The younger sister (~80 y/o) lives 5 minutes from where I was born and grew up.
The older sister (soon to be 90) lives on a kibbutz in the north of Israel, also belonging to Hashomer Hatzair!

Please note that although I have a section called Photo Galleries, these are only
those galleries that are not integral parts of the other sections. In other words, I
have photo galleries also in my genealogy section (with family photos) and a gallery
in the Garin Shomrat section (of members of my old group of friends who planned
to live on kibbutz). Non-related photo galleries are in the main Photo
Galleries section.

I am interested in receiving material for additional pages from contributors. If
you’d like to see a memorial page for someone who is in one of our databases, a
related database that doesn’t yet appear here or any other topics—please contact
me.
